Love me some essential oils.  I found YL on a field trip with my son's Waldorf class a year and a half ago. I scooted up to a mom, who at the time, I was not that close with and asked if we could get to know each other better. She told me she was a health coach and also talked about essential oils. What struck me was how an oil called "Inner Child" brought her to tears after it was applied over her heart. I knew I needed that oil for my little one. So begins the story of my passion for Young Living Essential Oils.  

My parenting journey is pretty neat. I am blessed to have four children. My oldest came through my body and the other three through another woman's body (adoption).  My latest child arrived in my heart when she was four years old. Two wonderful women (social workers) brought her to her new life in a green minivan, carrying a plastic bin and a white plastic bag, and a whole lot of "baggage."  Not the kind I can store in the attic kind of baggage.  I was happy to be the one to help her unpack.

I set out to find alternative, natural, healing therapies available to make her world the best it could be.  We tried it all.  Cranial Sacral, flower essences, talk therapy and horseback riding therapy.  I even had lavender for bedtime that we named, "Magic Pixie Dust." I told my little one this dust would bring beautiful dreams and peaceful slumber.

After meeting this Mom on the field trip, I knew I needed that "InnerChild."
